| Richard and Kathy McDonald Congo "Believer's Express Service, Inc., (BESI) was founded in 1986. HCJB World Radio signed on as partners to provide the transmitter equipment in 1991. The studio and FM transmitter were presented to the McDonalds in June 1992. The ultimate goal is to form a national network, and an international short-wave outlet from Bukavu. Since 1992, with the help of our partner, GALCOM International, we have distributed over 10,000 GALCOM solar-powered, fix-tuned radios to some of the most devastated and remote villages. God has given us a wonderful open door using FM and short-wave radio to broadcast the Gospel of the Grace of God to countries and peoples unreached by other means. Radio Kahuzi was named for Mt. Kahuzi, well-known home of the Silverback mountain gorillas in the Kahuzi National Game Park, which is the highest peak in Kivu Province. Radio Kahuzi is a Christian radio station established by Richard & Kathy McDonald that has been broadcasting the Gospel from Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 1991 on FM 91.1 ministering to a city of over 250,000 people in the Bukavu area with the potential audience of 3 million. Our ministry's primary objectives are to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, to prepare believers to live righteously, and to provide humanitarian aid to refugees and people in need." ~Radio Kahuzi To learn more about their ministry please visit their website... | Andy and Jeneane Hollier Australia "Andrew Hollier was born and raised in Australia and came to the States in 1967 to study for the ministry. He is a graduate of Grace Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology Degree. His American wife, Jeneane, also received her Associate of Arts and Associate of Religious Education Degrees at Grace Bible College. They have served two pastorates in the United States, one in Michigan and one in Wisconsin. As a result of a visit to Australia in 1973, they felt the Lord's leading to return and work towards the establishment of sound, Bible-teaching churches. They located their ministry in Penrith, near Sydney, Australia, and have served the Lord in that area ever since. The Holliers have had the joy of serving the Lord in Australia as pioneer missionaries and were instrumental in laying the foundation and growth of many ministries. These include: evangelism outreach, home Bible classes, DVBS, literature, church planting, church growth, and Bible college training. Over the years, many Australians have been saved and grounded in the faith. Pray for Andrew and Jeneane as they seek to reach more Australians with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." ~GMI, Inc. | Joe and Pauline Watkins United States "Pauline and Joe are not retired. They are still very active in the ministry of Things to Come Mission. Joe is now associate director, assisting the present director. There are many things to be done in the TCM office. As associate director they have more time to reach out and develop new areas. This new position allows Joe to travel to the fields where TCM has ministries. He has made several trips to the Philippines. These trips allow Joe to minister to the national leaders. He will continue to travel to different fields of ministry as long as his health remains good. The nationals need Grace literature. We are helping by sending literature to the fields of TCM. Joe is also on the faculty of two Bible Schools here in the USA: Berean Bible Institute in Slinger, WI and St. Louis Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He has already taught Missions for two semesters in the Berean Bible Institute. Being on these faculties allows him the opportunity to challenge young men for missions. Pauline is always busy in the office, handling the address files, bookkeeping and secretarial work." ~TCM Learn more about the Watkins and their ministry with Things To Come Mission Back to Missions |
