Genesis 40 & 41 find Joseph in prison, but because “the Lord is with him” (Gen 39:23), he will interpret dreams for the butler (cupbearer) and baker of Pharoah, which will bring him before Pharoah, himself, to interpret his dream. The result of God’s work is Joseph will be the steward of Pharaoh and the most powerful man in Egypt.
